Every records office has its own checklist, but the same small set of documents appears again and again. Assembling them first shortens the process considerably.
Identity
A current government-issued photo ID, plus evidence of any name change since enrolment. Copies should be clear, uncropped and in colour.
Evidence of the award
Your student number, the award title, the year of conferral and, ideally, a scan of the original document — even a photograph taken at graduation helps.
Declarations
Where a document has been lost or destroyed, many institutions ask for a signed statutory declaration or a loss report. Check the exact wording the office requires before signing.
Authorisation
If someone is acting for you, add a signed authorisation letter and a copy of their ID. Our desk can prepare this correspondence and track each stage.
